Good to know

  • Free to tenantsWe do not charge tenants for viewings, referencing, administration or setting up the tenancy. We never require you to buy insurance, take out a loan or use a particular service.
  • Getting your holding deposit backWe aim to agree the tenancy within 15 days of receiving the holding deposit, unless we agree a different date with you in writing. Once you sign, it is repaid or, with your agreement, put towards your first rent or tenancy deposit. Otherwise it is returned within 7 days. It may be kept only if you withdraw, fail a Right to Rent check, give false or misleading information that affects your suitability, or do not take reasonable steps to agree the tenancy. If we keep it, we tell you why in writing within 7 days.
  • Bills and council taxYour tenancy agreement sets out whether gas, electricity, water, broadband, council tax and the TV licence are included in the rent or paid by you. Harlington Property Management adds no charge of its own to these.

Your protection

How your tenancy deposit is protected is explained on our deposit protection page. Harlington Property Management is a member of Client Money Protect and of a redress scheme. If something goes wrong, our complaints procedure explains what to do.
