Cookie policy
Last updated: 6 November 2026
This cookie policy explains how Harlington Property Management Ltd (“Harlington”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in a similar way. They can help a website work securely, remember your choices or understand how it is used.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These are needed for the website to work securely, so they cannot be switched off through our website. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies to protect the website against abuse and keep it running reliably.
Enquiry form security
Where the enquiry form is available, it uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the form is being used by a person rather than an automated program. Turnstile may use similar technologies on your device for this check only. It is not loaded on pages that do not show the form.
Remembering your property address
If you choose an address in our address search, we keep it in your browser’s session storage, under the name hpm-enquire-address, so that the enquiry form can start from it. It stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab. It is only sent to us if you submit an enquiry. We treat it as strictly necessary, because you asked for the address search and the enquiry that follows it.
Visit counts
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, provides Web Analytics, which we use to count visits to the website in overall terms, such as how many people visit and which pages they view. It does not use cookies or store anything on your device, so it runs whatever you choose in our cookie banner. If you prefer not to be counted, you can block it in your browser or with a content blocker.
Cookie banner
Our cookie banner is provided by CookieYes. It stores your cookie choices on your device so that we can respect them on later visits and do not ask you again each time.
Statistics (only if you accept)
If you accept Statistics in our cookie banner, we use PostHog to count visits and see how visitors use the website, and Microsoft Clarity to see where visitors click and scroll and to review recordings of visits. We mask what you type into forms and address boxes. Neither is loaded, and nothing is sent to either, unless you accept Statistics. They keep the following on your device:
- PostHog: a random identifier for your browser and visit, in your browser’s local storage, in an item whose name starts with ph_
- Microsoft Clarity: the cookies _clck (a random visitor identifier, kept for up to a year) and _clsk (links your page views into one visit, kept for up to a day), plus related cookies set by clarity.ms and Microsoft
If you withdraw consent, we stop both services, remove what they stored on your device and reload the page.
Advertising
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies or tracking pixels, and we do not use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. We also monitor our own servers to keep the website running, which does not use cookies on your device. This is explained in our privacy policy.
3. Managing cookies
When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject the categories that are not strictly necessary. Nothing in the Statistics category is used unless you accept it.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the website from working.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
5. Contact
If you have questions about cookies or this policy, email us at enquiries@harlingtonproperty.co.uk.
